Hello all. The focus of this first video project was to "simply... tell a story." Using the in-and-out of framing technique, also apart of the assignment, was a basic, but helpful skill.
This second video was created for the sake of humor. I first questioned my mom about what something interesting would be that I could sequence through video. I came to the conclusion that a ‘how-to’ video about making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, with the talent as my boyfriend, Chad, would work well!! :)
I shot this video in the evening, inside my home. After shooting the video in sequence, I brought it to school, the following day, to upload, edit and publish. The problem came when I realized I had, during the middle segment of filming, started recording when setting up the shot and pausing the camera when
“filming”!!! :/ Lesson learned.
After having my boyfriend come back to my home, the following day, I knew prior that the lighting shown in the beginning and ending segments of my first video where not shown all that much, therefore I could film the middle segment later at night (due to his prior commitments).
The second round of filming was not very difficult because, for the most part, we knew where the shots would be taken. During each round, I filmed some shots from various angles (**my boyfriend’s idea**).
I had some options of music, to incorporate into the video, before filming the first time. Sometime afterward, I selected what music I wanted.

Here is a picture of a sandwich I made for myself a couple days later! ;)
